Really fast grocery getter, needed a wash and sounded glorious as he backed out of the space. Told my wife I needed one and she half smiled and told me no.

Over the weekend, I went to the grocery store (Mariano’s FWIW) and parked next to the cart corral - which is a nice enclosure, even has a roof over it and everything. When I parked there, there were at least 3 shopping carts *next* to the cart corral - and when I came out, there were several more, including one that I had to *move* in order to get my car out.

And they say Americans are lazy...

Sounds like my Wife. But she knows that I’m patient and that was just the opening volley. As in, boy I really like “x” car, what do you think dear? Then a few weeks later it’s, hey look at this (ad for “x” car), that’s not too bad, and I can put the boys in the back seat... she knows that starts the clock ticking. Then anywhere from 6 months to a year later, I buy my car. She’s a good Wife.
